DESCRIPTION:
GIP is a galvanic isolator designed to provide reliable galvanic separation between a coaxial cable network and connected end devices, and to provide surge protection between core and shield of the coaxial cable. Its use is mandatory when end devices are connected to a neutral wire - plasma or TFT televisions, computers, etc.., which are powered with a three-wire cable, or end devices connected to grounded equipment, such as cable modems connected to computers, set top boxes connected to plasma televisions and more. The device is designed to work in both one-way and Bi-directional CATV networks with a return path. The device has a good shield protection from external RF interference. FEATURES: ● Galvanically isolates core and shield of the coaxial cable on output from input cable ● Extremely reliable performance ● Reliable protection of connected devices against equalizing currents between them and the cable network ● Prevents the appearance of voltage between core and shield of the coaxial cable to the output ● Very good shielding ● Does not insert interference ● Compact and electrically isolated corpus ● Easy installation and safe exploitation
